Ribs

Delicious, tender braised and barbecued ribs.

Instructions

  • wash and dry ribs and season with salt and pepper.
  • Leave them out of the fridge for an hour to warm up.
  • Preheat oven to 250° F.
  • Place ribs into a large baking pan.
  • Pour beer/wine over ribs so they are half-covered in liquid.
  • Add onion, carrots, celery and garlic.
  • Bake for 3 hours, basting from time to time and turning a couple of times.
  • Fire up the grill on medium heat.
  • Place ribs on the grill and coat the top side with barbecue sauce.
  • Grill, covered, for a couple of minutes.
  • Turn ribs over, coat the other side and cover again.
  • Do this 6-8 times until ribs are well-coated with a thick layer of barbecue sauce.
