Beef or Chicken Vermicelli Bowl

Easy, delicious and fresh tasting dish.

  • Mix garlic, fish sauce and peanut sauce in a large bowl.
  • Tenderize beef or Chicken and cut against grain into thin strip.
  • Stir meat into bowl and cover with sauce to marinade.
  • Heat oil in a heavy pan and sauteed shallots until brown and crispy. Set aside.
  • Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add vermicelli and cook according to package directions, probably for 1-3 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  • Mix chopped vegetables in a bowl.
  • Heat pan again under medium-high heat and cook meat, stirring occasionally, until cooked.
  • Run vermicelli under hot water to soften.
  • Into each bowl, add vermicelli, vegetables, meat, peanuts, bean sprouts, shallots and dipping sauce and enjoy.
