Pancakes, Oat Buttermilk

Hearty, fluffy pancakes with oats and buttermilk.

  • Combine flour, baking powder and salt in a bowl.
  • In another, large bowl, beat eggs, butter and buttermilk together.
  • Stir oats into wet mix.
  • Stir dry ingredients into wet mix - stir as little as possible to combine.
  • Fry pancakes in a pan or skillet with butter.
  • Cook for a few minutes and then turn once. You may need to add more butter.
  • Pancakes come up thick.
  • Serve with simmered reduced berries and maple syrup.
