Guacamole
Simple, delicious avocado dip.
Keep Screen On
Ingredients
3 ripe avocados
1 small or 1/2 regular onion
juice of 1 lime
1 tsp salt
pepper to taste
Instructions
Finely mince the onion and place into a small bowl.
Squeeze the lime juice over the onion, add the salt and pepper and stir to combine. Leave it to rest and macerate for at least half an hour.
Slice the avocados in half and scoop the insides into a medium-sized bowl.
Stir in the macerated onions and mash coarsely with a fork until combined but not pureed.
Serve with nachos, warmed pita, rice crackers or sliced vegetables.
