A traditional Ukrainian Christmas Eve dish of sauteed mushrooms.

Ingredients
1 lb mushrooms - white, cremini, oyster
1 large onion
olive oil
paprika
salt and pepper
1 cup white wine
Instructions
Heat a large, heavy skillet on medium-high heat.
Slice the mushrooms and season with salt, pepper and paprika.
Add olive oil to the hot skillet and let it heat up for a moment.
Add the mushrooms and sautee, stirring often, for 10 minutes or until browning nicely.
Reduce heat to medium. Julienne the onion and add it to the pan, stirring to mix. Cook for another five minutes or until onions soften.
Add wine to deglaze and cook for until wine is reduced.
