A traditional Ukrainian Christmas Eve dish of sauteed mushrooms.

- Heat a large, heavy skillet on medium-high heat.
- Slice the mushrooms and season with salt, pepper and paprika.
- Add olive oil to the hot skillet and let it heat up for a moment.
- Add the mushrooms and sautee, stirring often, for 10 minutes or until browning nicely.
- Reduce heat to medium. Julienne the onion and add it to the pan, stirring to mix. Cook for another five minutes or until onions soften.
- Add wine to deglaze and cook for until wine is reduced.
