Pound Cake
This is the best pound cake. The blending is key - don't skimp out on blending time!

- First of all, let all ingredients warm to room temperature. (It helps to grate the butter when it is still cold.)
- In stand mixer bowl, combine the eggs, sugar, milk, vanilla extract and almond extract.
- Sift the flour, baking powder and salt into another bowl.
- Pour the flour mixture into the wet mixture and blend using the blender attachment on medium-high for at least 20 minutes. Seriously, don't shortcut this part.
- Preheat oven 350 F.
- Butter and flour a bundt pan with a removable bottom.
- After blending, pour mixture into the bundt pan and bake for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
- Don't disturb the cake when it comes out of the oven. Let it cool by sitting it on a wire rack and covering it with a tea towel.
- Serve it with more butter because butter!
